Lindsay Coward, Founder
Lindsay Coward, Certified Yoga Instructor, Masters in Public Health, Speaker, and Team Development Specialist is passionate about bringing the teachings of mindfulness and wellbeing to working adults: providing team development workshops, inspirational speakings, group wellness challenges and corporate classes in-person, virtually and on-demand.
While working in the corporate sector, Lindsay re-started her yoga practice as a means of release - both mentally and physically - from her inflexible and often negative job atmosphere. Noticing the positive impacts of moving her body and breathing in a self-serving way, she felt called to provide these same shifts to other working adults. After searching for a year, Lindsay enrolled in a yoga teacher intensive program at Savannah Yoga Center in Savannah, Georgia. She holds a 200 hour Hatha Yoga certification with additional trainings in yin, prenatal/postnatal, alignment and meditation. She has been teaching yoga at work spaces since 2011. Lindsay also has a bachelor's in Psychology and a Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in workplace wellness and stress management.
As a mom, Lindsay understands the benefits of staying present and advocates the importance of caring for our bodies first so that we can, in turn, show up as our best selves at work and in life. Besides teaching, she enjoys being outside with her husband and children, hiking, traveling and supporting local restaurants and shops.
Lindsay’s yoga teaching specialties include chair yoga, beginner yoga, Hatha flow, all levels yoga, yin yoga, prenatal/postnatal yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Lindsay and her team at Yoga Nut travel to your place of work, conference centers, hotels, co-working spaces, community centers, and more. Interested in a class? Check out our services!
Veronika Jerdetski, Certified Yoga Instructor
Veronika Jerdetski, RYT-200, BA is inspired by how mindfulness practice on our mats seeps into mindfulness in our daily actions. Her yoga offerings include Slow Flow, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation. Veronika strives to create a safe space for everyone to find grounding, nourishment, connection and let go of expectations, striving, stresses and fully drop into a practice of self-care and rejuvenation.
Yoga brings the mind, body, and spirit into alignment - which is really important for anyone who wants to live up to their highest potential. The biggest benefits Veronika has experienced from a consistent yoga practice are pain management, clarity of mind, becoming more aware and ligned with the spiritual self and developing the ability to create calmness throughout her daily life. Veronika enjoys sharing what she has learned with others, and leads with empathy and compassion.
Outside of yoga, Veronika thrives when she is able to spend time hiking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. She also enjoys traveling, writing, and diving deep into the exploration of mental wellness.
Veronika has been practicing yoga for over a decade and completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga Center in March 2019. Veronika holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Colorado University in Denver and has several years of experience in Event Planning and Operations Management at a wellness retreat.
